Hi hi!
... I am a little nervous here. This is my first released plugin, and I really hope it'll be well received. I am looking for testers for FanPress, a WordPress plugin for managing fanlisting "collectives."
Now, here is the thing: while I call it a "collective management utility," this plugin does NOT host actual fanlistings; it only manages and displays information about the fanlistings you have joined or own, wherever they may be. I think it may still be called so, right? Anyway, a real example can be seen at my blog (arwym.com/profile/fanlistings), where I display a list of the fanlistings I've joined, similar to how it's done in Enthusiast.
I'm preparing a simple site with the information and download link, at http://arwym.com/fanpress. Please check it out if you own a WordPress blog, and let me know what you think. If you need more information, or have some feedback to offer, feel free to comment here or at the site itself. You can also send me an e-mail to arwym.starlight _at_ gmail.com.
Where I need the most help is at testing this on different themes. I want to see how the output is handled in as many themes as possible. I want to make this plugin's output to look right in any theme.
Just one more thing I would like to say: when I started learning PHP around the years 2006 and 2007, one of the sites that helped me the most was CodeGrrl. Back then, when I started using Enthusiast3 and other scripts, I didn't even know how to 'echo' a variable in PHP. Since then, I always wanted to contribute something to the CodeGrrl community, so I'm very happy to be able to do it now, even if it took a while. I'm still learning, though, so don't hesitate to tell me what you think.
Thanks!
