Hi there!

I’m Drea and I used to frequent Codegrrl with the user Spacemonkey waaaay back in the dark days when I was a student & before I’d joined the workforce. In the last 6yrs I’ve become more of a lurker online due to lack of free time, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to make more time for my old blogging and coding hobbies. I’m rusty as heck, so I’ll probably be asking THE dumbest of questions, mostly about WordPress as it feels like I’ve always had a WP mental block going on!

I’m still on TFL as Feloriene & I think most memberships I had with other MBs have been removed bit by bit over the years. Hopefully I’ll get back into my old geeky groove online. It’s awesome to see some old and new faces here!

WP’s always managed to kick my ass. After working with MT years ago, I tried WP initially when everyone seemed to be making the move and never clicked with it. I’ve been tinkering with ExpressionEngine which is awesome, but overkill for alot of the things I’m looking to do these days, nevermind the cost involved! One of these days, hopefully soon, I’ll beat WP and get my blog back up and running again.

WordPress is .. meh. I spent a long time fighting with it when it was ‘younger’. I had a bit of a love hate relationship with it. Then end of 2010 I had a work project which involved getting really down and dirty with it and we’ve “clicked”; I end up using it for everything now.

In the build up to a house move right now, but as soon as we’ve reliable internet set up I’m hoping to devote some time striving for that light bulb moment. No doubt I’ll be back here trawling for answers on my adventures.
